Some weddings announce themselves loudly. The grand mandap, the hundreds of guests, the elaborate programme. Daniel and Swetha's wedding was not that kind of wedding. And that's exactly why it was extraordinary.
This is of their wedding story — photographed by Naveen Prasanth for Thulir Weddings.
The Morning
We arrived early, the way we always do. The kind of morning that smells of fresh flowers and nervous excitement. The kind that makes you remember why you chose this work.
Swetha was in the corner with her mother, quiet and still in the middle of the preparations happening around her. She wasn't nervous in the way that shows itself in fidgeting and checking phones. She was simply present — in the way that only people who have made a deep, settled decision can be.

Daniel
Daniel was with his friends. Laughing — not the performative laughter of someone managing their nerves, but genuine, easy joy. He had the look of a man who knew exactly what was about to happen and was ready for every moment of it.
When the time came for the ceremony, he walked to his place and stood there, and when Swetha appeared, the expression on his face was worth every early morning, every long drive, every difficult lighting setup of our entire career.
The Ceremony
There is a particular kind of attention that settles over a wedding ceremony when the couple is truly present with each other — when they're not performing for the guests or the camera but simply experiencing their own wedding. Daniel and Swetha had this. The guests could feel it. We could feel it.

The Photographs
Wedding photography works best when the photographer becomes invisible. At some point during the ceremony, Daniel and Swetha stopped noticing the cameras — and that's when the real photographs began.
"We didn't want to remember our wedding as a series of poses. We wanted to feel it again. That's exactly what Naveen gave us." — Swetha

What We Learned from This Wedding
Every wedding teaches us something. Daniel and Swetha reminded us that simplicity, when it comes from a place of genuine love, is always photogenic. You don't need elaborate setups or grand locations. You need two people who mean it — and a photographer present enough to catch the moments when that meaning shows.
We're proud of this album. We hope Daniel and Swetha are too.
